Polyurethane Foam

Styrotech offer a comprehensive range of Polyurethane packaging foams which are produced in a range of densities from 12 – 30 kg/m3.

Ultra soft low density (12 kg/m3) grades are generally used for packaging and padding in low cost item applications. These low density types of foam and very open cell grades can also be used in filtration of air and water.

Higher density grades commonly Grey and yellow in colour are used for general packaging,padding and sponges.when die cut or water jetted components offer a higher level of accuracy with a low tool or set up cost.Vibrant colours are available for the novelty market.

General Information

Polyether based Polyurethane (PU) foams are available in a wide range of densities (12 – 30 kg/m3), colours and specifications. Uses include packaging, industrial, automotive and acoustic, can be self-adhesive backed or plain. These are low cost foams, which tend to be used in less technologically demanding applications.
